Login and Account Status in Matrix Chain

The official website of 8zz.

The official website of 8zz. This independent guide’s demo of Matrix Chain operates without a traditional account system. There is no sign-in, no password, and no registration process required to play. The experience is entirely contained within your current browser session.

No Account or Sign-In Flow

The demo does not collect personal credentials to establish an identity. You do not need to enter an email address or create a user ID to access the game. The demo has no account login or network-synchronised wallet. This does not establish whether other site resources or server logs process activity data.

Because there is no login, the demo does not verify your identity (KYC) or link your play to an external wallet address. The game runs as a self-contained unit in your browser.

Local Wallet Persistence

Your virtual coin balance is stored locally on your device. The game source uses localStorage to save your settled balance and any fractional carry. This data persists even if you close the browser tab or refresh the page.

  • Settled Balance: If you reload the page after a round has settled, your remaining balance is restored exactly as it was.
  • Fractional Carry: Any fractional changes to the balance are preserved through settlement, manual refill, and reload.

Important Distinction: This persistence applies only to the local demo. It does not imply that an external service holds your funds or that your account can be recovered on a different device.

Unfinished Rounds on Reload

If you reload or close the browser tab while a round is active (i.e., the stake has been captured but the outcome is not yet fully processed and settled), that specific round will end without a refund. The state of that unfinished round is not saved.

  • You cannot resume an unfinished round in a new session.
  • The stake used for that incomplete draw is lost.
  • Only settled balances are guaranteed to persist.

Manual Refill Mechanism

The demo includes a specific rule for low balances:

  • If your balance drops below 10 coins and you are idle, you can manually restore your balance.
  • This action sets your balance to exactly 1000 coins.
  • This is not an automatic replenishment or a deposit of new funds; it is a reset of the demo wallet.
  • Fractional carry is preserved during this manual restoration.

Data Storage and Privacy

The only data stored locally are the game state variables: your current balance and fractional carry. The absence of an account does not prove that no personal data is processed elsewhere, but the demo itself does not require you to upload documents or provide contact details.

Clearing this site’s localStorage removes the saved balance and fractional carry. Clearing cached files alone is a different operation and does not necessarily remove them. There is no external account recovery procedure because no account exists.

Identity and Verification

Since there is no login, there is no verified identity associated with this demo session. The guide does not claim that this demo is the official product of any specific operator. The Matrix Chain demo belongs to this independent guide and uses its own virtual coins which do not have cash value.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to log in to save my progress?

No. There is no login system. Your settled balance and fractional carry are saved locally in your browser. However, if you close the tab or reload during an active round, that specific round is lost and not resumable.

How do I get more coins if I run out?

If your balance falls below 10 coins while idle, you can manually restore it. This action sets your balance to exactly 1000 coins, preserving any fractional carry. This is a manual refill, not a deposit.

Is my data safe if I clear my browser cache?

Clearing cached files alone does not necessarily remove the saved wallet. Clearing this site’s localStorage removes the balance and fractional carry. The demo does not store your data on an external server, so there is no way to recover a lost balance from a different device.
